Justice with Redemption - Faith Day in Action

We invite all ordained clergy, retired clergy, deacons, nuns, rabbis, monks, and leaders of peace or humanist churches in the U.S. to sign our #JusticeReformNOW Interfaith Statement in your respective Congressional district.

Sign the #JusticeReformNOW Interfaith Statement. You can keep a copy of the text of the letter for your records. We will deliver the Interfaith Statement with the signatures to Congress.

We have a rare opportunity to fix our broken criminal justice system. #Cut50 is asking leaders from all faith backgrounds to demand that Congress begin the steps to dismantle the inequities in our justice system.

President Barack Obama became the first sitting president to visit a federal prison and issued a call for change. Meanwhile Congressional leaders on both sides of the aisle are taking steps to reform and reimagine our justice system. A new generation is marching in the streets, demanding a humane justice system. And polls show that the American people are ready for strong, smart reforms.

Moments of bipartisan, national agreement like this have been rare in the last decade. We must seize the momentum.

Join #cut50’s #JusticeReformNOW campaign to get comprehensive criminal justice reform passed by Congress, onto the President’s desk, and signed into law this year - in 2015.
